Pre-Matriculation

WesMaSS begins the summer before students’ first year at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, and engages Scholars through the WesMaSS Summer Virtual Program. These sessions throughout July and August are an opportunity for all incoming WesMaSS students to meet one another and to meet the WesMaSS faculty before arriving on campus.

This program comprises informal conversations that will provide:

• Insight into selecting fall semester courses
• Guidance for making the most out of those first meetings with faculty advisors
• Tips and advice from professors who teach ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½'s introductory science and math courses
• Information on academic support resources available to students

The WesMaSS Summer Virtual Program will prepare new Scholars to navigate ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ math and science courses from the very first day of class!
