Language Journeys

In working to make multilingualism more visible on our campus, the Fries Center for Global Studies interviewed exceptional students from our regularly offered language courses, in addition to Swahili and Modern Greek, to give a face to each Language Journey. In these videos, you can learn more about the diverse study of languages at Wes from the students themselves, and how each of their unique paths have changed as a result of language study. Their motivations for learning a new language, their study abroad experiences, favorite words, and plans after Wes – there's a lot to talk about!
