Students
Shipping Recommendations

Preferred Carriers: We strongly recommend having packages shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

Amazon Deliveries: Due to Amazon’s use of third-party contract drivers, packages are occasionally misdelivered across campus. To guarantee you receive your order, we strongly encourage using an Amazon Locker as your delivery location. There are multiple locations around the campus that you can use.
Processing Times

Standard Packages: Expect up to a 2-day delay for processing after a package arrives on campus.

Priority Mail: Processed ahead of standard shipments.

Urgent Items: For time-sensitive items, use Overnight Mail (any carrier), as these shipments receive top priority sorting.
Parents

Address Format: Always include your student’s full name and their specific Wes Mail # on all mail and packages. Items missing a mail number will be returned to sender.

Flowers & Perishables: WesStation is closed on weekends. Please ensure flower deliveries are scheduled for weekdays only.
Amazon Fresh / Whole Foods Deliveries

No Student Names: Grocery shipments from Whole Foods do not include recipient names on the delivery label and are not accepted or stored at WesStation.

Direct Hand-Off Required: Please schedule deliveries directly to your residence hall and ensure you are present to meet the driver upon arrival.
Faculty & Staff
Paper Mail Delivery - Due to declining paper mail volume, campus mail delivery operates on a Wednesday-only schedule.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Departments can still pick up and drop off mail at WesStation Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Weekly Schedule: Mail is delivered to departmental offices every Wednesday morning*.
*Delivery Service Suspensions: Wednesday deliveries will be suspended during the following periods:

Summer Recess: There is no campus mail delivery from June through August

Direct Carrier Package Deliveries Carriers (FedEx, UPS, Amazon, etc.) are instructed to deliver packages directly to the physical address listed on the label rather than to WesStation.
